Our whisky tasting held at the Electro Lobster project was created to see if the 5 whisky producing regions of Scotland had a discernible effect on the final outcome of the whisky. During our tasting we tried a Glen Scotia, Auchentoshan, Glengarioch, Bruichladdich and the Allt A Bhainne single malts to try to analyze their differences. In the end, although each malt was great, we came to the conclusion that the different regions where more of a geographical designation rather than having any particular effect on the palate.
