About Franks Make-up Academy
FRANKS Make-up Academy was established in 2018 and aims to provide high quality education and training to teach promising and professional Make-up Artists in this field.
TUTOR
Claire started her career as a beauty therapist. After graduating, she pursued her career as a beauty consultant at FRANKS, where she started applying make-up on various clients, both as freelancer and in fashion activities and events involving beauty, fashion, TV, photo shoots and commercials.
Claire furthered her knowledge and experience at the Academy of Freelance Make-up in London.
Claire also heads training at Franks and represents Malta internationally, as the official trainer of prestigious brands such as Dior.
Apart from training local beauty consultants, Claire teaches the newly recruited FRANKS beauty consultants, with a special focus on selling techniques and product knowledge on make-up, skincare products and techniques, as well as perfumes.
The Award in Advanced Make-up Artistry course, which is fully accredited by the Malta Further & Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) at MQF/EQF/EQF Level 5 with 8 ECTS, is intended for those individuals who are have a special interest in the make-up industry, and for those who wish to achieve an accredited qualification which will help them to become professional make-up artists. This accredited course is ideal for candidates who wish to experience a practical and hands-on guided approach, giving them the opportunity to gain practical skills and knowledge in make-up application.
During this accredited course, you will learn to master topics which are the foundation of an extensively detailed syllabus – from safety and hygiene to colour harmonies, contouring, fashion makeup, commercial and bridal makeup among many others.
