We build on our Cosm’ethic charter each and everyday: we select natural, environmentally-friendly active ingredients whenever possible and seek out tomorrow’s “green” ingredients. The vine extracts that we use for our patents come from French vineyards (Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne).We minimize our use of preservatives (Ecocert approved). We are against animal testing.
Our commitment to the environment is also central to our industrial development: our packaging is made of recycled pa- per. Whenever possible, we use recycled plastic or plant-based plastic. We recycle as much as possible to reduce our waste and consumption of raw materials. We optimize our packaging and shipping to reduce CO2 emissions.

Caudalie donates 1% of its world revenue to NGOs to act and protect the regions of the world most threatened by deforestation and where biodiversity is in danger.
Our actions:
• 150,000 trees planted in the Andes Amazon.
• 200,000 trees planted in Brazil.
• Caudalie is taking part in protecting
36,000 hectares of natural forests and endangered animals (225 Asian elephants, 65 tigers and 130 orang-utans) on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia.
• Caudalie also contributes to supporting
the Indian Shipibos tribe and others from the Pano stock, threatened by modernization and destruction of the Amazon.
• Finally, by the end of 2015, 200,000 trees will have been planted on the Isan plateau, one of the poorest regions of Thailand.
