Franks has started stocking a new brand of Rums named Ron Critsobal. Since Franks is a leading wine & spirits shop in Malta we are proud to have such a important brand in our extensive portfolio. Ron Cristobal is offers our clients a selection of entry level spirits ideal for mixers and cocktails such as the Blanco & Oro, along with finer and older rums such as the Nina and the Santa Maria aged in Olorosso sherry casks.

These rums are distilled in the Dominican republic and are found in exclusive outlets in Malta & Gozo. Ron Cristobal was named after the world famous explorer Christopher Columbus who is credited with carrying sugar cane from the canary islands to the New World. This seemingly insignificant event led to the creation of vast sugar plantations and by extension the creation of rum all over the Caribbean.
